On August 4th and 5th, Cesusc College in Florianópolis - SC the Southern Integration Championship. IDP sent a delegation of 4 students composed by Flávia Taiane, Ana Clara, Marcelo Sarmento and Arthur Miranda, all got places in the semifinals and Flávia and Ana Clara were in the grand final, where they took 4th place and Marcelo Sarmento reached the title of 2nd place for best debater in the championship.

Student Flávia Taiane, as president of SDIDP, took the opportunity to invite all event participants to come to Brasilia and compete in the V Brazilian Debate Championship and the II Congress of Argumentation and Oratory, which will take place at IDP between the 5th and 9th of September .

The IDP Debate Society meets every Wednesday at 5:30 pm and on Saturdays at 2 pm in room 003 with open training sessions and modules.
