In 2019, professors Geraldo Sandoval Góes and Sérgio Ricardo de Brito Gadelha published, through the publisher JUSPODIVM, the book “Macroeconomics: Indicated for Competitions, Graduation and Professionals”. This book fills a gap between the macroeconomics manuals available on the market. It is a complete and very detailed work that covers all the concepts necessary for the training of a macroeconomist.

Over more than 800 pages, the authors discuss, in a didactic manner, the theoretical-conceptual bases and their practical application, with solved and proposed exercises at the end of each chapter, in addition to including a chapter on macroeconomic modeling and the DSGE approach.

The book is aimed at anyone who intends to have a solid and complete education in macroeconomics and who wants to understand macroeconomic policy, its foundations and applications. It is an excellent academic manual, and is already included in the teaching plan of important courses, for example, the Professional Master's in Public Policy and Development at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA), in the postgraduate course in Economics at the Austrian School of Instituto Mises Brasil, and in the undergraduate course in Economics at the Catholic University of Brasília.
