WHAT ARE PODCASTS?
Podcasts are on-demand audio programs, where the listener can listen to them whenever they want, unlike traditional radio programs. Instead of having a specific time to air or having to tune in to a radio station, it can be listened to on a website, on a music platform or in a podcast-only app on your cell phone. You can listen whenever you want, whenever you prefer: whether in traffic, washing dishes, at the beach or at the gym.
Podcasts can be themed, tell a unique story, feature debates, classes or simply conversations on a wide range of topics. It is possible to listen to individual episodes or subscribe to a podcast – for free – and thus be notified whenever a new episode is published, whether on an app or here on the website.
Podcasts are available on several platforms. On the computer, they can be heard within a website, such as IDP Talks, through the internet browser itself (such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox).
They can also be accessed via cell phone and tablet, in specific audio applications, such as Anchor, Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast and other aggregators.
