The call for articles for the participation of the II Global Human Rights Congress is open on the theme “The Defense of Democracy and the Constitutional State: the challenges of organizations and civil society in contemporary”.

The event, which will take place between the 15th and 18th of January 2020, in the city of Lamego-Portugal, is aimed at teachers, researchers, students, professionals from different areas, governmental and non-governmental organizations, civil society, the global community and to all those interested in the topic of Human Rights, so urgent and necessary for everyone's future.

According to Professor Laís Locatelli, one of the organizers of the event, “the Global Human Rights Congress is an opportunity to involve civil society, academics and educational and governmental institutions with the same objective: realizing human rights in a multidisciplinary way”.

The IDP aims to make knowledge an instrument for transforming society, institutions and the Rule of Law, which is why it encourages participation in serious research and extension activities, such as that promoted by the II Global Congress on Human Rights.
