The IDP library was structured to meet the research and information needs regarding its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The collection is broad and consists of books, e-books, reference works, special collections, scientific journals and databases. These are works that are not restricted to Portuguese and include items in Spanish, English, French, Italian and German. The Digital Library seeks to make access to internal academic and scientific production more agile and has in its virtual collection documents arising from its cultural, technical and scientific activities, as well as the doctrinal production of its students and teachers.
One of the differences is the digital collection policy, bringing more accessibility to students and, of course, deepening their studies. The IDP library seeks to make access to information increasingly easier and therefore invests in digital content. The library is always looking for news and updates to build its collection.

AccessThe IDP Library has some accessibility features to improve your user experience. We have study spaces and a lowered service desk, keyboards adapted with pounds and larger letters and headphones for using accessibility programs.
In addition to these physical resources, the library also has 2 programs installed on the machines to assist users who need it. They are Dosvox and Vlibras. With Dosvox, the user can listen to the selected text, a feature that Minhabiblioteca also makes available for reading e-books on this platform. With VLibras, the selected text will be translated into pounds and will appear on the screen for the user to read the document.
