Project Submission Notice to the Scientific Initiation Program (Proic)
Regarding IDP's Undergraduate Law and Public Administration courses for the year 2021
The Scientific Initiation Program (ProIC/IDP) aims to encourage research and academic production by IDP undergraduate students, under the qualified supervision of the institution's professors, by granting financial assistance for the development of individual research projects.

- PREREQUISITES
I – be regularly enrolled in the Undergraduate Law course or the Undergraduate Public Administration course at EDAP/IDP;
II – have completed at least 40% (forty percent) and a maximum of 80% (eighty percent) of the mandatory subjects of the respective Undergraduate course;
III – present an Academic Performance Index (ARI) equal to or greater than 3 (three) points.
- SCHOLARSHIP
The support provided by the IDP will consist of the granting of an individual research grant of R$500.00 (five hundred reais) per month , lasting 8 (eight) months , starting on January 1, 2021 and ending on August 31, 2021 .
- REGISTRATIONS AND DOCUMENTS
Applications for enrollment in the program may be submitted to the EDAP/IDP Research Center, between 09/01/2020 and 10/30/2020 , upon request containing the following documents :
I – summary of the candidate's Research Project with a maximum of 3 (three) pages (The work developed in ProIC cannot be the same as the student's course completion work)
II – work plan, with a maximum of two pages, containing a proposed development schedule for activities related to the research project. (Total project pages: 5 (five) = I + II, post-textual elements are not included);
III – term of acceptance of guidance by the supervising professor;
IV – copy of the candidate’s CV duly completed and updated on the CNPq Lattes Platform.
- SELECTION
The selection of projects will be made by an Evaluation Committee, formed by professors Janete Ricken, Lahis da Silva Rosa and Ariadne Moreira Basilio de Oliveira, and will take into account the academic-scientific relevance of the project for the internal environment and for the academic community , as well as such as the institution's budget availability.
The results of the selection of research projects will be published on the CEPES/IDP website by 11/27/2020 .
