Alexandre Chiavegatto is an economist and doctor in public health (FSP/USP). He also served as a guest professor (2016) and visiting researcher (2017 and 2019) at Harvard University. He is director of the Big Data and Predictive Analysis in Health Laboratory (Labdaps) at USP, with funding from FAPESP, CNPq, Microsoft and Fundação Lemann. He was responsible for the Big Data in Health online course in Brazil, from the USP-Coursera partnership, which was hugely successful.
