CTRL-ENTER #15 | The secret life of papers, with prof. Carlos Azzoni
This is a special episode of CTRL-Enter, IDP's data science podcast. In this series, 'The Secret Life of Papers', I interview the best researchers who reveal the behind-the-scenes of their most impactful studies. Where did the idea come from? What were the implementation difficulties? What setbacks did you face before publication?
Today's guest is Professor Carlos Azzoni and we will talk about his paper 'Economic Growth and Regional Income Inequality in Brazil'. Professor Azzoni is one of the giants of the regional economy. Working at USP since 1973, he trained hundreds of researchers, created ABER and was recently elected fellow of Regional Science International.
