IDP is committed to ensuring your privacy online. This Privacy Policy regulates in a simple, transparent and objective way how your personal information will be collected, recorded, stored, used, treated, shared or eliminated, as you use our website and our services.
We recommend that our policy be consulted regularly, as changes may occur without prior notice, for better adaptation or legal compliance.

During the navigation process and filling out registrations and forms, your information will be stored in our database and used only for the purpose for which it is intended. The use of data
Within the scope of IDP, the data collected are accessed only by authorized professionals, respecting the legislation in force, the principles of proportionality, necessity and relevance to the objectives of IDP, respecting the purpose and good faith. IDP does not use any automated decision that bring you impacts.
If third parties carry out the processing or any other activity of data collected by IDP, they must also comply with the conditions present in this Privacy Policy.
The holder of personal data can enter their email in the space available on the website to receive the newsletter about the main events of the IDP or IDP project. In this field, only the email address of the interested person is requested, which will only be used for the IDP to send the institutional newsletter.
This site has two specific tabs for access to restricted areas, one for teachers and another for students. To gain access to these pages, the data holder informs his own login and password for the platforms used in the development of IDP teaching and research activities. These credentials are fundamental for access control and validation of the identity of the institution's student data holders. IDP has no direct access to the holders' password.
With whom the collected data and activities are shared
IDP has partner or contractor companies for the development of educational or commercial activities and services, with whom you can share the information collected automatically or deliberately provided by you.
IDP does not sell or rent the personal information collected under any circumstances.
The other hypotheses of sharing include the protection of IDP's interests in conflicts, such as lawsuits, or upon request of competent authority. Finally, personal data may also be shared in cases of corporate change and when data transfer is essential for continuity of the service.
Data security
IDP affirms its commitment to confidentiality and preservation of privacy, also in legal terms and under this privacy policy. IDP uses reasonable and legally defined means to stor the information collected on secure servers, and those who come into contact with the data are also required to maintain data security.
Data retention and deletion
The IDP will exclude data from your servers when requested by you or when the information has no longer use or no longer achieve the purpose for which they were collected.
In the event of a legal obligation, the IDP may retain the data, provided that the requirements of its treatment are subject to the access of third parties.

IDP has connections with other websites, whose information/tools may be useful to our visitors. However, our privacy policy does not apply to third-party websites and we are not responsible for their contents.

The General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/18) provides that every data holder has the following rights in relation to his personal information:

- Deletion of personal data processed with the holder's consent, except in the cases provided for in the LGPD regarding the conservation of personal data;

- Information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of refusal;
- Revocation of consent (in cases where this is the legal basis used for the processing).
Such rights can and must be exercised by contacting marketing@idp.edu.br. In order to resolve requests made by the holder, some additional information may be requested to, for example, confirm the identity of the holder of personal data.
Furthermore, data subjects have the right to petition in relation to their data against the controller before the national authority.
