The CASP Research Group discusses how to reconcile the role of the Constitution, the Separation of Powers and Legal Argumentation. It unfolds along two axes: a) Institutional Dialogues, Legislative Process and Constitution; b) Climate and Environmental Defense. In its meetings, it demarcates the institutional roles of the Brazilian Executive, Legislative and Judiciary Powers. It works with the notion of dialogue and containment between powers. Uses the tools of legal argumentation to evaluate the problems raised and possible paths to contribute to solutions and reflections, including the climate.
The meetings are online and include the participation of external guests and the indication of a basic text for each meeting. Meetings are monthly. We carry out targeted studies based on relevant cases of reaction between powers, using readings. Studies are open to non-members. Coordination is carried out with other Groups such as GPRAJ, Percursos, GERN, UNB, Dir. Ambiental and Des. Sustainable-Ceub
