Research Group

About the research group

GEDE is institutionally linked to the Universidade Brasília and the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research, under the leadership of Professor Amanda Flávio de Oliveira and Professor Fernando Meneguin (IDP). GEDE/UnB/IDP's proposal is to promote studies and debates in the field of Law & Economics. The meetings will take place every two weeks, on Thursdays, from 12 to 1 pm, and will involve the presentation and debate of texts related to the Economic Analysis of Law.

Group proposal

GEDE is intended to promote studies and debates in Economic Analysis of Law. The Group's actions seek to interact with reality, through effective contributions to Brazilian society, both in the form of academic publications, production of podcasts made available to the general public, as well as demonstrations in public consultations or as amicus curiae in actions judicial.
