From 2024 onwards, the Brazil-Europe Legal Comparisons Center (NCJBE), a CEPES/IDP research group, will carry out its activities in cooperation signed with the Centro di Ricerca Interdipartimentale per gli Studi Politico-costituzionali e di Legislazione comparata (CRISPEL) , from the Università degli studi Roma TRE, currently chaired by the illustrious professor Gianpaolo Fontana, of law constitutional. The purpose of the agreement is the development of an international research network focused on investigations in the political-constitutional and comparative legislation fields and aimed at supporting public and private, international, European and national institutions. The international network works with the participation of professors, researchers and students from both institutions (and others that may be combined), as well as professionals from law, politics and economics, promoting research, scientific activities, events and international academic publications together. Through this agreement, NCJBE investigations were expanded from Law to the areas of Political Science, Economics, International Relations, Business Administration and Public Administration. The activities are published on the pages of both institutions. Those interested in participating can contact the IDP Research Center – CEPES.
Research the reception, in time and space, by the Brazilian legal system, of legal solutions originating from European sources. The objective is to identify the main institutes and systems provided for in the current Brazilian Constitution, whose origins date back to European orders, current or outdated. After identifying the material that is the subject of the research, it will be aimed at verifying the similarities and differences in functioning in each historical-spatial environment, using comparative methodology. To this end, it is proposed to internationalize the group, through the direct participation of professors and researchers from the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre, to exchange information and experiences.
