CEDIS/IDP organizes panel on transparency in the use of artificial intelligence systems
with UNESCO, CTS FGV-Rio, Action Coalition on
Meaningful Transparency (ACT), Global Network Initiative (GNI) and IGF Coalition
on Platform Responsibility.

The panel Multilevel and Meaningful Transparency in Algorithmic Systems
: Developing Concrete Criteria to Guide Institutional and Legal is organized as a side-event of the

UNESCO
“Internet For Trust: Regulating Digital Platforms for Information as a Public Good” Conference The panel will take place on February 21st (Tuesday), starting at 11:30 am local Paris time (7 am Brasília time).

The objective will be to discuss the key elements of transparency in
different contexts and phases of the life of these systems, in order to achieve
trust in these applications.

Senior Visiting Researcher at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am
Main and Rapporteur of the Brazilian Senate Commission for

● Yasmin Curzi: Researcher at CTS-FGV, Coordinator of the
IGF Coalition on Platform Responsibility;
● Alexandria Walden: leadership for human rights and
freedom of expression at Google;
● Gabriela Ramos: Deputy Director General for Social Sciences
and Humanities at UNESCO;
● Jason Pielemeier: Executive Director of the Global Network Initiative.
