VIII International Seminar on Law, Technology & Innovation
The VIII International Seminar on Law, Technology & Innovation was held between September 27th and October 1st. The event had the participation of CEDIS and was attended by several national and international experts.
Several research groups were promoters, including: CEDIS/IDP, the PPGD of PUCRS, the Study Group on Fundamental Rights and Study Group on Data Protection of the PPGD of PUCRS; the Center for European and German Studies -CDEA, the PPGD of UFRGS, the PPGD CESMAC, the CONTEMPORARY CIVIL LAW NETWORK – University of Granada and Jean Monnet Chair. PID 2019-106118GB-100 – Research Project: The configuration of public space in social networks and its impact on pluralist democracy and the constitution – Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain.
The event was also coordinated by Ingo Sarlet . The Scientific Committee was composed of Augusto Aguilar Calahoro (Granada), Fabiano Menke (UFRGS), Danilo Doneda ( IDP ), Fernando Sergio Tenorio de Amorim (CESMAC), Francisco Ballaguer Callejón (Granada), Francisco Ricardo Coutinho (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) , Laura Schertel ( IDP ), Gabrielle Bezerra Sales Sarlet (PUCRS), Ivar Alberto Hartmann (INSPER), Otavio Luiz Rodrigues Jr. (USP), Regina Linden Ruaro (PUCRS) and Rodrigo Xavier Leonardo (UFPR).
