The book traces the history of national graphic design, taking as its starting point the panorama of the world scene in the 1960s. The work portrays and puts into discussion what is considered the period of consolidation of Brazilian graphic design.

Creation process in graphic design: Pandemonium - Leopoldo Leal

The book is the result of the author's doctoral thesis, published with the aim of understanding the creative process in graphic design. Leopoldo was based on the eight phases of creation described by Robert Keith to show how chance and experimentation are inserted in the process.

An introduction to the history of design - Rafael Cardoso

The work presents an introduction to the historical evolution of design in Brazil and around the world. Privileging the social and cultural trends that conditioned the development of design, thus bringing a social history of the area.

Brazilian design before design - Rafael Cardoso

With the proposal to go back to ground zero in the history of Brazilian design, the book brings themes situated between the years 1870 and 1960. The work brings a collection of nine essays that discuss this period in the history of Brazilian design.
