As we have shown here, social networks have become a phenomenon and have changed several scenarios, one of which is music. Bands from the 1980s surrendered to the online world and if even artists who started their careers when dial-up internet didn't yet exist launch online strategies, imagine what the online world is like for those born in the digital era!
There are several examples of artists who go viral on the internet with a song, but how many of them manage to ride this wave and increase their network of fans and followers? We profiled two artists that you may have already heard of and who are taking advantage of the best that social media has to offer, making their music played across the four corners of the world. 😉🤩

The 18-year-old multi-talented actress and singer introduced herself to the world as the protagonist of Disney, in the series High School Musical: The Series: The Musical. From the screen she soon launched herself into music streaming with the single “Drivers License”, and since then the path has been upward for the artist.
Olivia already had a large youth audience before the release of her debut album “SOUR”, it was then that an audience that was already large became even larger and with a worldwide reach. The album features a well-structured storytelling, a visual identity with colors and elements that engage your audience.
The singer gained worldwide space after her songs became trends on TikTok, which made her stand out on all music charts. What can be proven with numbers, “SOUR” was released in May 2021 and already exceeds the number of 3 billion plays on Spotify. Furthermore, the singles “Deja Vu”, “Good 4 u” and “Drivers License” have more than 12 million plays on the platform!
Maneskin
Rome is the birthplace of the band that showed that those who have a mouth go all over the world! Rockers Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi, Damiano David and Ethan Torchio made their debut on the X-Factor Italia stage, where they came in second place. Participation in the program guaranteed a contract with Sony, but the highlight of his career came with his victory at Eurovision 2021 .
After taking the trophy home, Italy became small for the band that conquered the world with trends and publications on social media. These were the band's main tools for winning the musical contest, as this was how they secured public votes - decisive for the result. The profiles of the members and the band are full of content packed with hits, such as the songs “I Wanna Be Your Slave” and “Beggin'” that became trends on TikTok and Instagram.
The band's numbers further prove the success that the Italians have had worldwide. With the video for “Zitti & Buoni”, the winning song at the Sanremo and Eurovision festivals alone, the band already has more than 74 million views. Furthermore, they made Italian music history by reaching the top 3 on Billboard Global and reaching first place on Spotify's top 200.
