You already know that being in front of the television watching confined people is a huge success in Brazil, right? Big Brother Brasil very diligently for 20 years and always breaking records with each passing year. But the reality show factory doesn't stop there, it's not new that we live watching talent shows, culinary competitions, makeovers , among many others.

In recent years, a format has become popular among Brazilians: survival realities, or rather, the famous Largados e Pelados! The Discovery Channel program has had 11 seasons since its launch in 2013. 

The successful format uses the following formula: men and women meet naked in front of the cameras, form pairs and must survive in inhospitable environments around the world. This is one of those reality shows where we watch a little bit of everything. 

Relying only on a simple kit that has a wireless microphone transmitter, a map, a camera and a diary, participants need to take advantage of nature's resources to survive for 21 days.

One of the best reality shows in Brazil

Largados e Pelados was so successful that a Brazilian edition was scheduled for this year. Before that, the program had already given the air of grace in Brazilian lands to film a season in Jalapão, a state park in Tocantins .

The rescue of good formulas

Back in the early 2000s, Brazil knew ''No Limite'', a reality show with this survival and competition vibe. You may remember the tests in which participants had to eat goat's eyes and even brains. 

Presented by Zeca Camargo, the program rewarded all participants with a brand new car and guaranteed cash prizes for the top three finishers. There were four seasons between 2000 and 2009, and after a lot of nostalgia, Globo announces a new season of the reality show.

The announcement arrived with two new features: the first is the presenter, Marcos Mion, who after announcing Jojo Toddynho's victory in the last edition of A Fazenda will follow former BBBs living the challenges that we know and like from No Limite! The internet is already abuzz with this Globo announcement and placing bets on which participants could be on the reality show and making some jokes with famous names from Big Brother Brasil.
