Why Pre-College?
The main objective of IDP Pre-College is to offer a university experience to talented and interested young people, allowing them to learn and discuss topics that are not part of the High School curriculum
Live Online Classes
Courses are taught for two hours per day, from Monday to Friday. Our online classes allow students to engage in all aspects of courses through real-time discussions in which teachers and students see, hear and interact with each other. Certification
Participants who complete the course, participating in all classes and carrying out all activities receive a 10-hour certificate for their participation in the course.
Active Participation
At IDP Pre-College, we understand that students' experience is only complete in a teaching environment that is completely open to active participation, through questions, comments and discussions. Students will also find opportunities to interact and engage with teachers and peers outside of the classroom environment.
Excellence Teachers
With a combination of experience, talent and knowledge, Pre-College courses are taught by Masters and Doctors who are passionate about their areas of expertise and have recognized professional and academic credentials.
2021 Program Dates
A series of courses will be offered over two sessions during the July holidays. Each session lasts one week, with classes taking place from Monday to Friday. Each student can attend a maximum of two courses, one in each session.

Our course offering is designed to meet the interests of our students. The teachers are references in their respective areas of knowledge, in order to create a unique teaching opportunity for the participants.
With 14 courses to choose from for July 2021, students can choose to participate in up to 3 advanced study courses. Similar to what they would experience on a university course, students can expect various activities to be carried out outside of class times. Activities may include readings, group work, online lectures, podcasts, among others.

IDP Pre-College is a joint initiative of the School of Management, Economics and Business, the School of Communication, Creativity and Arts, and the IDP School of Law. The goal is to not only provide enriching academic experiences, but also create learning communities that encourage critical thinking and personal development outside of the classroom.

The great difference of IDP Pre-College was certainly the openness of teachers to answer questions and dialogue with students. I felt directly connected with the course themes and with the other participants and I attribute much of this to the environment of frank and open dialogue that I found during the classes.
